The 2nd International Workshop on Information Technology with its Applications in Education (ITAE 2010)

 Beidaihe, China, 14  August, 2010

With the great success of ITAE 2009 which was held in Taiyuan and has been indexed by EI compendex, the 2nd international workshop on information technology with its applications in education (ITAE 2010) will be held in Beidaihe on 14 August£¬2010.

 ITAE 2010 seeks original, unpublished research/case study papers reporting substantive new work in various aspects of Information Engineering. ITAE 2010 will be published by IEEE CPS, and will be submitted for indexed by EI Compendex and ISTP. Some selected best papers will be published by international journals which will be indexed by EI compendex.

Scope and Topics:

The workshop will provide an open forum for research papers concerned with information technologies with its applications in education. The topics include, not limit to£º

Workshop Chair: Prof. Yijian Gong
He is the department head of Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Hubei University of Education. He has being engaged in computer education for ages. His current research interests include Software Engineering, and Computer Education. He is the chair of ITAE 2009 as well.
 
Co-chair: Dr. Jian Li
He received the Ph.D degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in System Analyses and Integration. He is an instructor of Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Hubei University of Education, and a member of the IEEE. His current main research interest is Artificial Intelligence in Information Engineering. He is the co-chair of ITAE 2009 as well.
 
Co-chair: Dr. Peng Chen

He received the master's degree from Huazhong Normal University in Education, and the Ph.D degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in System Analyses and Integration. He is an deputy director of Office of Key Discipline Construction, China Three Gorges University. His current main research interest is Virtual Reality and its Application in Education. He is the co-chair of ITAE 2009 as well.
