Notification
The organizing committee has received letters about ICIE2010 of the majority of academic teachers and students for the deadline extension request, so the organizing committee decided: The ICIE2010 deadlines from March 15 have an extension to March 25 , please authors submit your papers as soon as possible!
Note: This extension does not affect papers before the March 15 has been submit to ICIE2010, and these papers has being reviewed by the experts, we will notice the author after the end of the paper reviewed, please check your e-mail in time, concerns the conference's website!

Technology and the Services Sector - More than IT!
Technology, speciifcally Information Technology, has enabled a transformation of the world economy. The Services Sector has benefitted enormously by the pervasiveness of low cost communication and computational technologies for the creation of new services and for extension of the use of established services. The Goods Sector has benefitted similarly. However, the distinct differences in the role of Information Technology in the two sectors have not received appropriate attention and discussion by the academic, business and political communities. This presentation will highlight this issue and will explore the potential convergence of the sectors as made possible by IT.
ICIE2010 will invite Prof. Patrick S. P. Wang as Keynote Speaker. He is IAPR Fellow and ISIBM Fellow.

2010 WASE International Workshop on Energy, Electronic and Communication Engineering(IWEEC 2010)
2010 WASE International Conference on Information Engineering (ICIE 2010) will be held on 14-15 August, 2010 in Beidaihe, China. It provides two day’s focus on the science and technology that are the basis for the information science and engineering. The first International Conference on Information Engineering was successfully held in Shanxi from July 10th to 11th, 2009. About 200 experts in information engineering from the world attended this conference. Building on its great successes in 2009, the 2010 WASE International Conference on Information Engineering (ICIE 2010) continues to focus on the complementary and synergistic aspects of established fields such as Services Science, Bioinformatics, Mobile Wireless Network, Advanced Intelligence and Pervasive Computing, which are expected to contribute to the further development of the information engineering. Concurrent sessions and a poster session will cover a wide range of topics and issues, including both contributed papers and special sessions developed on specific themes.
The ICIE 2010 will feature a unique mix of academic, industrial, and cross-discipline topics, and provide a platform for presentation and exchange of research results and practical experiences as well as education and curricula development. The ICIE 2010 conference also aims at bridging the perspectives of the researchers and the needs of the practitioners. Speakers at the conference include many of the leading Information Engineering experts from both the academia and the industry around the world.
The technical program of the conference will include invited talks, paper presentations, and panel discussions in research, industry and education tracks. The ICIE 2010 seeks original, unpublished research/case study papers reporting substantive new work in various aspects of Information Engineering. Awards will be given to the best papers in different categories.
We are planning to have the papers published in this conference's proceedings to be published by CPS and selected 80-120 papers will be recommended to publish in EI Compendex & SCI journal.
